Give us 2 weeks to show you mentor magic✨
Here’s why:

We want to make sure you see the value of mentor magic before committing to a long term relationship. That is why we offer a two week evaluation period for you and your child to determine if the mentor is a good fit (for our subscription plans)

After you meet your mentor during the two week trial, we ask for a 2 month commitment period. We’ve seen that 8 hours is the minimum time commitment to see student outcomes and build a robust relationship with a mentor.

Trust is built over time. The mentor-mentee relationship is unique in that it allows students the freedom and confidence to try without the fear of failure -- something they can’t do with teachers or peers.

Our dedicated mentors design a tailored learning plan and develop resources and curricula for their students, supported by our world-class education team. Mentors work with students to create personalized SMART goals that equip them with the confidence and skills they need to reach their dreams. The goal is to build a lasting relationship, not just pass Friday’s test -- and that takes time. (In fact, research suggests that mentorship that lasts less than 3 months may actually be harmful.)

How it works

Schedule a free 30 minute zoom call with our family admissions team (Harvard & Stanford Graduate School of Education alum and former educators). We will discuss your student’s interests, academic profile, and goals. If your student is around, we encourage them to join the call.
After we’ve aligned on what success looks like for your student, we will recommend a personalized learning roadmap that provides clear structure to their learning. We will also provide examples of tangible outcomes from previous students to inspire your family's vision.
We are expert match makers. We will identify a mentor profile that not only shares multiple nodes of connection with your student and has a track record of delivering results.

98% of our customers love their mentor match (students literally light up when they see an older aspirational version of themself), but if you’re not thrilled, we’ll keep trying until we get it right.
Your student will meet with their mentor virtually on a flexible weekly schedule. You’ll receive  notes after each session as well as a structured roadmap with real-time progress tracking. You will also receive seasonal progress reports that clearly captures your student’s achievements, skills acquired, and tangible deliverables.
